Blueprints to Beaches: Perry Becker’s Construction Leadership at Volcano Bay
Under Our Master Services Agreement to provide Thematic Design and Landscape Architectural Design Services, Perry Becker Design was commissioned by Universal Studios Parks to assist in the area development design and construction management of Universal’s first water theme park. Additionally, PBD provided landscape architectural planting design assistance for the redesign of major areas of the waterpark to include the primary project entry area and beach/wave pool areas.
From Concept to Concrete
PBD was responsible for managing the final hardscape implementation plans and providing full multi-disciplinary design coordination interface of all grading and drainage systems design. As part of this work PBD provided final hardscape construction design for all guest pedestrian routing parkwide, thematic ride queing areas, thematic rockscape interface and water/pools pedestrian connections, while maintaining ADA compliance standards throughout the park. Our team is currently a
