Commissioned by the Dr. Phillips Foundation, Perry Becker Design provided full master planning, landscape architectural design and construction management services for the Harbor Chase ALF at Dr. Phillips located in Orlando, Florida. Perry Becker’s team of designers worked closely with the owner, management team and the project architect to create a truly unique transitional care facility that provides every amenity comparable to a 5-start resort. Based on a foundation of hospitality and service, the site was developed to provide its residents the ability of full transitional care from independent living, assisted living, temporary rehabilitation/respite stay, mild dementia care, advanced memory care to extended congregate living. Designed to meet the needs of residents at a varying level of social and physical activity levels, the facility was designed with both indoor and outdoor active and passive amenities and dining areas, a series of public gardens as well as specialized therapeutic care gardens to meet the specific needs for both rehabilitation patients and memory care patients.
