Enhancing St. Maarten’s Tourism Hub: Front Street Promenade Development
The development of the Front Street Promenade in Philipsburg, St. Maarten, was part of a larger effort to enhance the island’s commercial and tourism appeal, particularly for cruise ship passengers. Front Street is known for its bustling duty-free shopping, with jewelry, electronics, and luxury items attracting tourists. This promenade connects Front Street to the Boardwalk, which runs parallel to the beach, providing visitors with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions.
