Project Story

Environmental Stewardship

To help educate the public of the sensitively of the natural systems within the Bahamas, Azul Destinations is also assisting the Bahamas National Trust in the development of an environmental studies and rehabilitation center where the public will be able to both learn of their environmental conservation efforts, but also see coral seeding production, observe sea turtle, flamingo and other marine species rehabilitation and release programs. Designed to operate as an energy self-sufficient development this project will operate completely off the grid from local utilities, with power being supplies by both solar, wind and wave dynamics. This project will truly set the bar in guest experience but just as importantly will become a model for environmentally sensitive design and conservation efforts.
