The district’s layout ensures that guests can easily explore and enjoy the amenities available, making it a practical and appealing choice for families, groups, and individuals looking to make the most of their Disney vacation.
Gateway to Disney
PBD was commissioned by Walt Disney Imagineering to develop the overall master plan, development design guidelines and the master infrastructure streetscape construction plans for their newest themed urban town center project that will serve at the western gateway into Disney properties from the SR 429. PBD has, and will continue to provide, land use planning, site planning and landscape architectural design, and development design review of private sector development plans for this project as it develops in the future.
Mixed-Use Masterpiece
The overall project is approximately 400 acres in size and actually bisected by SR 429. Currently the programmed development will host a 175 acre themed urban mixed-use town center, 11 hotel parcels, multiple time-share parcels, a big box development area, and multiple stand alone commercial out-parcels.

Project Story
Pedestrian Overpass
Perry Becker Design, again worked with Walt Disney Imagineering to conduct a circulation study and create conceptual designs for a pedestrian bridge over Western Way into the Flamingo Crossing Town Center. This bridge will serve over 15,000 student interns and residents. PBD developed routing scenarios, pedestrian trip projections, and identified optimal bridge locations, integrating the design into the Town Center Master Plan. Additionally, PBD produced detailed concept designs and 3D models for presentation, leading to the selection of a final design for construction.
