Commissioned by Manatee County Parks and Recreation, PBD led the comprehensive master planning and landscape architectural design for the Manatee County Trails and Blueways Master Plan.
Creating Sustainable Connections
As part of the Manatee County Trails and Blueways Master Plan, PBD conducted a detailed field inventory, GIS mapping, environmental analysis, and property assessments. The team developed strategic trail alignments and a comprehensive construction cost estimate, ensuring the project’s feasibility and sustainability. Since the plan’s adoption, multiple trailheads, launch facilities, and greenway and blueway trails have been constructed, demonstrating PBD’s dedication to creating accessible, sustainable outdoor spaces that benefit both people and nature.
