Revitalizing U.S. 192: Enhancing Connectivity and Aesthetics in Osceola County
Situated within the East U.S. 192 CRA, this ambitious project focuses on revitalizing a 2.8-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 192 in Osceola County, Florida, partially extending into Kissimmee. The project’s primary objective is to establish a seamless connection between Neo City Way/Denn John Lane and Partin Settlement Road, creating a more cohesive and visually appealing thoroughfare. This vital section of US 192, known for its high traffic, also borders significant county landmarks like NeoCity and Osceola Heritage Park, positioning the project as a key driver in enhancing both functionality and aesthetics for residents and visitors alike.
Streetscape Design for a Connected and Sustainable Corridor
The streetscape design initiative is a pivotal step in improving the overall landscape and usability of this major corridor. The Perry Becker Design team worked in close collaboration with Osceola County staff to create the comprehensive CRA Streetscape Master Plan and Site Analysis Report. Their expertise facilitated smooth coordination with FDOT District 5 for reviews, ensuring all plans were aligned with state standards. The team also prepared detailed permit plans, paving the way for seamless bidding and construction, all while ensuring the design upheld the county’s vision for a more connected and sustainable roadway.
