Perry Becker Design delivered a full suite of services for Zemi Beach Resort and Spa, crafting a master plan that seamlessly blended the natural beauty of the Caribbean with the resort’s luxurious amenities. The landscape architectural design focused on creating tranquil, tropical spaces that complemented the resort’s aesthetic, while the feature pool design became a central element, offering guests a serene escape within lush surroundings. Project Story
Conservation and Sustainability
Zemi Beach Resort & Spa is dedicated to sustainability and environmental preservation through various conservation efforts. These include the protection of native plants, reusing excavated rocks and soil for landfill and landscaping, and keeping coastal areas untouched. To protect nesting sea turtles, propane torches are used near the beach instead of traditional lighting. The resort also supports the local economy by sourcing materials, resources, and produce locally. Restaurants serve fresh, local fish, seafood, and seasonal fruits and vegetables naturally ripened in the sun.
